My parents and the upcoming Christmas

The Christmas holiday is coming up soon. Making plans to see everyone. It makes me nostalgic for years past. Somedays I wish my son was still a little kid, bouncing around the tree and yammering about his guesses as to what's inside all the presents 😍🎄.

I'm so lucky to still have my parents in my life. As my son goes through different stages of adulthood, I reflect on my role as a dad, and how the relationships with my parents have evolved over the years. We all strive to be as good to our kids as our parents were to us.
